Narratize Workflows embeds configurable stage-gate structure directly inside each Product Knowledge Hubs — connecting your development process to the knowledge that drives it.

Product development teams run on stage-gate processes. But the tools they use to manage those processes — spreadsheets, standalone PM software, shared drives — are disconnected from the knowledge that actually drives each stage forward.
Narratize Workflows changes that. It embeds configurable stage-gate structure directly inside each Product Knowledge Hub, so your development process and your product knowledge live in the same place.
Every Product Knowledge Hub can now have a stage-gate workflow applied to it. Each stage defines the inputs your team needs to add (research, specifications, test data) and the outputs they need to produce (PRDs, feasibility studies, cost analyses). A visual progress bar on the hub home shows exactly where the product stands and what’s complete at each stage.
Teams take action directly from the stage view. Upload customer interviews. Generate a product requirements document using your hub’s complete knowledge base. Assign a team member to deliver a manufacturing cost analysis. Every action connects to Narratize capabilities your team already uses — AI-powered document generation, template-based writing, knowledge upload, and research.
Required outputs map to your Narratize template library, so when it’s time to generate a feasibility study in the Scoping stage, the right template is already linked. One click starts a draft that pulls from verified knowledge in the hub.

Organization admins define workflow templates using the Workflow Builder — a visual interface for creating, customizing, and managing stage-gate processes. Add stages, define required inputs and outputs for each, set descriptions, assign team members, and save templates for reuse across every Product Knowledge Hub in the organization.
Narratize ships with five industry-ready templates:
Admins can also build fully custom workflows from scratch. Once a template is enabled, hub admins apply it to individual hubs with one click. New hubs inherit the structure automatically. And changes to the organizational template don’t disrupt hubs already in progress — existing hubs keep their current workflow.

Workflows doesn’t just organize your process — it connects that process to the intelligence your team builds over time. Every document generated, every piece of research uploaded, every decision made at a gate becomes part of the Product Knowledge Hub’s growing knowledge base. That knowledge informs the next stage, the next product, and the next team.
Narratize customers already report 46% faster time-to-market, 70% reduction in documentation time, and 9 hours recovered per person per week. Workflows adds the structural framework that scales those results across an entire product portfolio.
